Heavy weight
A heavyweight cricket ball is a very helpful tool for pace bowlers to train them in attaining the desired level of improvement in speed. Heavyweight cricket balls are prepared in many variations, ranging from 200g to 1kg. The pacers start with lower weights and gradually increase them over time, helping them to develop better strength and speed. After adjusting to a higher weight, when the bowler switches to a standard ball, which is light in weight, a high improvement in the pace can be noted.
