Use of Heavy Weight Cricket Ball is one of the best Pace Enhancement techniques for pace bowlers. Using the heavier ball requires more strength and power to make the delivery of the ball at the same speed. Gradually increasing the weight improves the pace of the bowler under training. Using a Heavy Cricket Ball as a Pace Enhancement Aid, the weight of the balls is gradually increased starting from a regular 156 g match ball to a 200 gm ball, 250 g, 300gm and then 350 g. It takes a long time to move from a regular ball to a heavy ball like 350 g.
